Obama urges promotion of 'reproductive rights' for the sake of 'future generations'

Obama, the former president, tweeted Sunday that people needed to promote “reproductive right” for the sake modern-day families as well as future generations.

“On what would’ve been the 50th Anniversary of Roe V. Wade, we’re reminded how progress can reverse. And that means we’ve got to recommit to doing our part to protect and expand reproductive rights for families today — and for generations to come,” Obama tweeted Sunday

Delano Squires replied to Obama’s post tweeting“Abortion absolutists talking about protecting families or future generations are heavy on hubris, and light on self-awareness,” said one.

“Where does the phrase “for generations to follow” refer to killing unborn children? Dan Dakich tweeted.

Last year, the U.S. Supreme Court granted the states full authority over how they handle the issue.
