
The FBI released documents that revealed that the murderer’s animosity towards casinos may have motivated the most deadly mass shooting in American history.
Although neither the FBI nor Las Vegas Metro Police were able to determine a motive for the shootings, one explanation was offered by a witness in more than 600 documents.
Many interviews were conducted with witnesses, who had the opportunity to speak out about the shooting death of the 64-year old man at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in October 2017.
According to one person, the FBI was told by the FBI that the killer was a professional video poker player who visited Las Vegas approximately once per month. He also lost $38,000 on one trip in September just before the shooting.
Another person claimed that the murderer was barred from many casinos due to his winnings and good fortune.
The report said that the witness told them the killer “was very upset at the way casinos were treating him and other high rollers.”
Another witness claimed that the murderer believed Hitler was good and expressed fascination with the Oklahoma City bombers.
