Harmeet dhillon, a lawyer from the Draft Tucker PAC said in a cease and deist letter that Tucker Carlson won’t be running for President in 2024.
Dhillon emphasized that Carlson won’t be running for office in 2024. And she warned the PAC not to solicit funds or information based on a plan to draft Carlson.
“It has come to Mr. Carlson’s attention that you are soliciting contributions and donor contact information from the public by representing that the funds will be used to draft Mr. Tucker to run for President in 2024,” Dhillon declared in the letter, according to Mediaite.
According to the outlet, she wrote: “Mr. Carlson won’t run for President in 2020 under any circumstance, and your misrepresentations will harm Mr. Carlson as well defraud his supporters.” “If you do NOT immediately cease your efforts to solicit funds to ‘draft,’ Mr. Carlson’s name, we will use any legal means available to us to protect and vindicate Carlson’s rights and his supporters.”
Mediaite reports that the letter was sent to PAC executive director Charlie Kolean, and PAC Treasurer Elizabeth Curtis.
“Mr. Carlson will not be under any circumstances, or at this time.”
