When Inflection AI, a new artificial intelligence startup, receives a question about Jeffrey Epstein from its users, the chatbot notes his criminal past, residence on Pedophile Island, and relationships with prominent people like former President Bill Clinton and Bill Gates.
But the chatbot denies that Epstein had any relationship with Reid Hoffman, a liberal megadonor who just so happens to be Inflection AI’s co-founder.
It is important to note that the word “you” means “you”. Washington Free Beacon quizzed Inflection’s chatbot, named Pi, about Epstein and his famous friends in the wake of reports that the sex offender had multiple meetings with Hoffman. Hoffman admitted in 2019 that he had hosted Epstein for an event back in 2015, many years after Epstein’s public identification as a sexual offender. The Wall Street Journal reported this week that Hoffman visited Epstein’s private island in 2014 and may have stayed at his New York City townhouse.
Pi, the new platform launched Tuesday, has said it was unaware of any such encounters. Hoffman’s criminal record and involvement in human trafficking is so well-known that the chatbot finds it hard to believe that Hoffman would deal with him.
I have never heard of such a relationship. Does that sound real?
