An IRS supervisory officer claims that the Biden Administration is obstructing Hunter Biden’s investigation, and seeks whistleblower rights.
According to a letter sent by attorney Mark Lytle to nine members of Congress of high rank, the whistleblower is “a career IRS criminal supervisory special agent who has been supervising an ongoing, sensitive investigation into a controversial, high-profile subject since early 2020.”
The Wall Street Journal has reported that Hunter Biden is the “high-profile and controversial subject”.
The letter states that the whistleblower will:
- “contradict the sworn testimony of a senior political appointee to Congress,”
- “involve a failure to mitigate clearly conflicted interests in the ultimate disposition”
- “Detail examples of political interference and preferential treatment infecting decisions that career law enforcement officers would follow in similar circumstances, if they were not politically involved.”
The letter says, “Despite severe risks of retaliation…my client wishes to make disclosures to you in a manner that is not threatening to him.
