Dee Snider from Twisted Sister has made a public statement in which he declares his support to those who identify themselves as transgender. However, he also expresses his belief that children haven’t matured mentally enough to make gender transitions.
Snider was recently criticized by San Francisco Pride, after he agreed with what the group claimed to be a “transphobic declaration” made out by Paul Stanley from Kiss.
Stanley seemed to suggest that adults shouldn’t encourage kids to identify with the opposite gender. Snider tweeted “You know what?”. It was also a time when I “felt pretty”. Thank goodness my parents did not jump to conclusions. Well said, Paul Stanley Live.”
