Democratic politicians declared: “No human being is illegal.” All migrants were welcomed, they said. After Joe Biden took office, border crossings soared to new records.
Many of the same Democrats have now declared that they will not accept any new migrants. Some of them are adopting the same Republican-favored solutions they decried recently as cruel and racist.

Hochul, who warned that New York City is in a “migration crisis” after the end of Title 42’s expulsions on Friday, said the city can no longer take more migrants.
