Police say that a gunfight between a woman and an alleged car theft victim leads to the man’s death and another one being injured. A bystander was also killed.

Police said that a woman was arrested for murder after she found a man who had stolen her car. She then got into a gunfight that resulted in the deaths of two other men.

At around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, the alarming incident took place at a Speedie gas station near St. Louis, Missouri.

Demesha Coleman, 35 years old, reportedly claimed that she went to confront the person who stole her car.

Police claimed that Coleman approached the Hyundai Tucson at the station with a gun and another man. She is seen opening the vehicle’s door while shooting the first shot.

She is charged with shooting and killing Darius Jackson, 19, and Joseph Farrar, 49. The third victim was also shot in the head. He was transported to a hospital.

KSDK-TV was told by Farrar’s family that Farrar was just an innocent bystander who stopped at the station to get medicine for his 11-year-old boy, who had been suffering from the flu.

“My brother is dead because of somebody else’s mess,” said Michelle Jackson, who is Farrar’s sister.

She said that Coleman should have contacted authorities rather than trying to solve the car theft.
