Musk also added second tweet Latin phrase “Vox Populi Vox Dei”, meaning the voice is God’s, which can be translated to Latin.
At the time this article was published, 57% believed Musk should reinstate Trump. Only 43% thought he shouldn’t.
Twitter suspended Trump’s account in the rioting at Washington’s Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. It claimed that Trump had violated its “civic Integrity” policies. It later suspended Trump’s account permanently and several other social media sites followed suit. Former president joined alternative social media platforms like Truth Social, run former Republican congressman Devin Nunes.
Trump had over 90 million Twitter followers before he was banned. Truth Social has approximately 4.5 million of his followers. He also stated that Twitter suspended him and promised not to return to Twitter again because it was boring.
