The Georgia Senate race will be a runoff, making it one of the most important races in the 2022 midterm elections. Two-party system supporters accuse Chase Oliver, the Libertarian Party candidate for siphoning votes that could’ve contributed to a clear victory for incumbent Democratic Sen. Raphael Warnock (or Republican candidate and former football star Herschel Walk)

Oliver got just over 2 per cent of the vote. Walker and Warnock did not exceed the threshold of 50 percent required to declare victory. Is Oliver now a spoiler because of this? He tells us, “You cannot spoil what’s already been rotten.” Reason.

“Both the sides are currently blaming my candidate for not getting over 50%, but not the fact they could not speak to over 50% of the electorate and get votes.”

On Election Night, Oliver retweeted multiple tweets In which Republican and Democratic voters accused him both of forcing their candidates into a runoff.
