Bud Light, which had been silent on Twitter for nearly two weeks before Friday, has resumed its tweeting and is being seriously rated.
Anheuser-Busch’s first Twitter since April 1 was sent after Anheuser-Busch’s CEO Brendan Whitworth released a bland statement Friday, in an apparent effort to calm the negative sentiments that had erupted following the company’s decision to hire a man who identified as a woman transgender to promote the beverage.
Bud Light tweeted a picture of a beer can with the message “TGIF?”
