Alabama man charged with beating his daughter.
Franklin County Sheriff’s Deputies responded on Nov. 7 to a report that a father had been beating his daughter. Broken beer bottles were found outside, as well as a broken Nintendo Switch and blood drops outside the Russellville, Alabama mobile home.
The residents refused to open their doors, so the deputies forced their way in. Once inside, they noted that the house was in total disarray – a TV was destroyed, laptops crushed and ripped apart, kitchen items strewn around the home, children’s bedroom furniture thrown around, and clothes scattered everywhere.
Christopher Andrighetti (39), was found by deputies hiding in a bedroom closet. The blood on his body was from self-inflicted cuts. The child was hiding in another closet when police searched the home. They also met Andrighetti’s 14-year old daughter.
Police say the daughter reported to her mother that her father created a secret social networking account. She also suspected Andrighetti in an affair.
